New to Grow
I’m a licensed clinical social worker who works with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, and the effects of past experiences. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable being yourself while we work through what’s been weighing on you. My approach is practical and collaborative. I don’t just listen, I help you build tools you can actually use in your day-to-day life. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready for change, I’m here to help you move forward in a way that feels manageable and meaningful.
The first session is focused on getting to know you and what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’ve been experiencing, what you’d like to work on, and what you hope to get out of therapy. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your background, current challenges, and goals, but there’s no pressure to share everything at once. We’ll go at your pace. By the end of the session, we’ll begin identifying areas of focus and next steps so you leave with a clearer sense of direction and what working together will look like.
One of my greatest strengths is helping clients feel comfortable and understood while also providing practical tools for real change. I balance being supportive with being goal-oriented, so our work together is both meaningful and effective. I draw from evidence-based approaches like CBT, trauma-focused therapy, and DBT-informed skills to help clients better manage emotions, reduce stress, and build healthier patterns. Clients often tell me they appreciate that I’m easy to talk to, down-to-earth, and focused on helping them make progress, not just talk about problems.
I work best with teens and adults who are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, or life transitions, and are looking for practical support and a safe space to process what they’re going through. Many of my clients are balancing responsibilities at work, school, or home while quietly struggling with overthinking, burnout, or past experiences that continue to impact their daily lives. I also support individuals working through trauma, helping them build coping skills, regain a sense of control, and move forward at their own pace. My goal is to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, understood, and supported while we work together toward meaningful and lasting change.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns that impact emotions and behaviors. Together, we develop practical tools and strategies to manage anxiety, depression, and everyday stressors in a way that feels realistic and sustainable.
Trauma-Focused CBT
I have experience using trauma-focused approaches to help clients safely process past experiences and reduce their impact on daily life. I move at your pace and focus on building coping skills alongside deeper healing work.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I incorporate DBT-informed skills such as emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and mindfulness to help clients better manage overwhelming emotions and improve day-to-day functioning.
Motivational Interviewing
I use motivational interviewing to help clients explore ambivalence, build confidence, and create meaningful change aligned with their personal goals and values.
