Do you feel anxious, stuck, or overwhelmed by alcohol, gambling, or stress at work and home? I specialize in helping adults and first responders manage anxiety, substance use, gambling addiction, anger, and men’s issues through direct, evidence-based strategies like CBT and DBT. My approach is practical and solution-focused, giving you tools to reduce stress, rebuild control, and move forward with confidence. Many of my clients come to therapy after trying to manage things on their own — only to feel that worry, unhealthy habits, or strained relationships are still holding them back. Whether it’s the cycle of anxiety, the pull of alcohol or gambling, or the weight of anger and isolation, I provide a structured and supportive space to break those patterns.
In your first session, I’ll focus on getting to know you, your goals, and what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk through your concerns, review any relevant history, and begin identifying the areas you’d like to work on. I’ll also explain how therapy works, answer your questions, and together we’ll outline a plan for moving forward. My goal is to make you feel comfortable, supported, and understood from the very beginning.
I provide a supportive, goal-oriented space where clients feel heard and understood. Using practical CBT and DBT strategies, I help people build confidence, manage stress, and move toward meaningful change.
I work best with adults and first responders who are struggling with anxiety, substance or gambling issues, anger, or men’s concerns. My clients are often looking for practical, solution-focused strategies to reduce stress, break unhealthy patterns, and regain control in their lives.”
I have extensive experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my practice to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and change behavior. I apply CBT with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, substance use, and life stressors by collaboratively setting goals, using structured interventions such as thought records and behavioral activation, and building skills that clients can apply in daily life. My approach is practical, evidence-based, and tailored to each client’s unique needs.
