I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who provides individualized therapy for adult women. I help women navigate anxiety, stress, substance recovery, relationship concerns, self-esteem, boundaries, and life transitions while developing healthier patterns and greater confidence. I primarily work with adult women who are managing daily responsibilities while navigating life challenges. I am most comfortable supporting clients who are ready to reflect, build skills, and work toward personal growth.
Our first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, explore your hopes and goals, and begin creating a space that feels safe, supportive, and judgment-free. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your background and you’re welcome to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable, there’s no pressure. This is your time and I want you to feel heard, respected, and welcomed. Think of our first session as the beginning of a collaborative healing journey where you don’t have to figure it all out alone.
I use a client-centered and strengths-based approach tailored to each client’s needs. I commonly incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed skills, and solution-focused techniques to build insight and practical coping skills. My communication style is supportive. I create a relaxed and nonjudgmental environment where clients can be themselves while also receiving thoughtful feedback, gentle challenges, and practical guidance when helpful.
I currently work exclusively with women who are ready to make meaningful changes and apply practical tools outside of therapy. My ideal client is seeking consistent outpatient support and is not experiencing an active crisis or needing a higher level of care. I offer a trauma-informed, culturally responsive space where your unique experiences are honored as we work together toward lasting growth at a pace that feels right for you.

I use Supportive Therapy to provide a validating, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and emotionally supported while strengthening coping skills, enhancing insight, and reinforcing existing strengths to help them manage current stressors.
I use CBT to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, connect thoughts with emotions and behaviors, and develop practical coping strategies to support more balanced thinking and improved functioning.
I use Strengths-Based Therapy to help clients identify and build on their existing resilience, skills, and resources, empowering them to apply these strengths toward overcoming challenges and achieving their goals.

Although, it was just the first session it felt promising. She was kind and warm, she also let me address some issues and she seemed genuine in actually wanting to help me grow and get better.

After having a therapist for 2 years and having to change, Lindsey is a great match for me and provides a safe space. I feel comfortable with her and am looking forward to more sessions.

I really enjoyed my session with Lindsey, she’s very understanding and gets the point. It was my first session but I know it’ll be great. You can tell sometimes by the first time you meet someone if they are good or not. Sometimes it does take time. Don’t wanna jinx it but my first session was very great.
