Hi, I’m Lindsey! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a master’s degree from New York University. I approach everything I do through a trauma-informed and culturally competent lens, honoring your unique experiences, identity, and background. I specialize in working with adult individuals only (sorry no couples, children, or families at this time) navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use and recovery, low self-esteem, and more. Whether you're facing life transitions, struggling with codependency, experiencing burnout, learning to set healthy boundaries, or simply managing the everyday challenges of being human, I’m here to support you. My work is client-centered and strengths-based, emphasizing empowerment, insight, and practical tools for lasting change.
Our first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, explore your hopes and goals, and begin creating a space that feels safe, supportive, and judgment-free. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your background and you’re welcome to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable, there’s no pressure. This is your time and I want you to feel heard, respected, and welcomed. Think of our first session as the beginning of a collaborative healing journey where you don’t have to figure it all out alone.
I blend evidence-based tools with holistic healing to support the whole person, the mind, body, and spirit. I use a trauma-informed, culturally competent lens to create a space where clients feel seen, safe, and respected. My approach balances deep emotional processing with practical coping skills and helping clients move toward lasting change. I support clients in building compassion for all parts of themselves, even the ones they struggle with. I hold space for healing, self-discovery, and growth without judgment. I’m especially passionate about working with women, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and those exploring sobriety or recovery.
I work with individuals only, not couples or families at this time. I approach therapy through a trauma-informed and culturally competent lens while honoring your unique experiences. My goal is to create a safe and affirming space where you feel seen, heard, and supported as we work collaboratively toward your personal growth at a pace that feels right for you.

I use Supportive Therapy to provide a validating, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and emotionally supported while strengthening coping skills, enhancing insight, and reinforcing existing strengths to help them manage current stressors.
I use CBT to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, connect thoughts with emotions and behaviors, and develop practical coping strategies to support more balanced thinking and improved functioning.
I use Strengths-Based Therapy to help clients identify and build on their existing resilience, skills, and resources, empowering them to apply these strengths toward overcoming challenges and achieving their goals.

Although, it was just the first session it felt promising. She was kind and warm, she also let me address some issues and she seemed genuine in actually wanting to help me grow and get better.

After having a therapist for 2 years and having to change, Lindsey is a great match for me and provides a safe space. I feel comfortable with her and am looking forward to more sessions.

I really enjoyed my session with Lindsey, she’s very understanding and gets the point. It was my first session but I know it’ll be great. You can tell sometimes by the first time you meet someone if they are good or not. Sometimes it does take time. Don’t wanna jinx it but my first session was very great.
