I understand seeking help is difficult for some at times and I'm here to provide you the support to find the version of yourself that you seek and desire. I have worked with children, teens, families, young adults, and older adults to improve their mental health and discover what they are capable of learning about themselves. I've also worked with parents with parenting skills to help understand and manage their children's behaviors. I'm experienced in depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief. Seeking out mental health services isn't easy, seeking help is the first part challenging yourself to the potential in you! After our first session, we will invest in your tool box by adding tools that are necessary for your personal growth. Your tool box will be important part of your treatment as day comes you end therapy you will be able to back to your tool box and use them in the future when needed to help with future life stressors or life transitions.
When we first meet, the most important part of therapy is building rapport and getting to know each other. As we grow trust, I will use such interventions as cognitive behavioral therapy to help frame thoughts.
My areas of strength are working with with depression, anxiety, and trauma. I have training in evidence based practices to help manage symptoms fo depression, anxiety, and trauma.
