(she/her)
Hi, I’m Kyra, a licensed clinical social worker who offers depth-oriented therapy for thoughtful, sensitive, and insight-seeking adults. Many of the people I work with are carrying trauma, grief, shame, relationship wounds, creative blockage, spiritual questions, or a sense that they’ve spent too long disconnected from their own inner life. My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in depth psychology. I help clients look beneath surface symptoms to understand patterns, emotional realities, and the deeper meanings shaping their lives. This work is often especially meaningful for people who are reflective, neurodivergent, creative, spiritually curious, or simply looking for something more honest than quick fixes. Before private practice, I worked for years in rape crisis, domestic violence, social service, and carceral settings with people impacted by trauma, oppression, instability, and violence. That background continues to shape my work in a profound way. I bring warmth, seriousness, and a strong social justice lens to the therapy relationship. If you are looking for therapy that is thoughtful, nonjudgmental, depth-oriented, and open to real inner work, we may be a good fit.
Our first session is a space to begin getting a feel for one another and to start understanding what brings you in. I’ll want to hear about what is happening in your life now, what feels most important, and any patterns, stressors, or wounds that may be shaping your experience. I approach first sessions with curiosity rather than pressure. You do not need to have everything organized or know exactly how to explain yourself. My goal is to help you feel met, begin identifying what matters most, and get a sense of whether my style feels like a good fit for you.
I bring warmth, depth, and a strong capacity for attunement to my sessions. My approach stands out because it is both trauma-informed and depth-oriented: I help clients look beneath surface symptoms to understand patterns, relationship dynamics, shame, grief, and the deeper emotional realities shaping their lives. I’m especially skilled at working with thoughtful, sensitive, neurodivergent, creative, and spiritually curious adults who want more than quick fixes. Clients often tell me they feel deeply seen, less alone, and better able to understand themselves in ways that lead to real change over time.
I work especially well with thoughtful, sensitive, and insight-oriented adults who want more than surface-level coping. Many of my ideal clients are carrying trauma, grief, shame, relationship wounds, creative blockage, or a long history of feeling misunderstood, over-adapted, or disconnected from themselves. I’m often a strong fit for neurodivergent, creative, and spiritually curious clients who want therapy that is relational, depth-oriented, and open to meaningful inner work. Many are looking not only to feel better, but to better understand their patterns, build a more honest relationship with themselves, and create lasting change over time.
Other specialties
I identify as
Jungian
Jungian therapy helps clients explore the deeper patterns, images, and emotional themes shaping their lives. In this approach, we may pay attention to dreams, relationships, recurring struggles, symbolism, and parts of the self that have been hidden, split off, or underdeveloped. Rather than focusing only on symptom relief, Jungian work supports deeper self-understanding, wholeness, and a more meaningful relationship with the inner life.
Trauma Informed Care
Trauma work with me is paced, relational, and grounded. I help clients understand how trauma may be living in the nervous system, in self-concept, in relationships, and in emotional patterns. The goal is not to force healing, but to support meaningful and lasting change.
Psychodynamic
My work is psychodynamic and depth-oriented, which means we pay attention not only to current symptoms, but to the deeper patterns, emotional histories, and unconscious dynamics shaping your life. This can help us understand recurring struggles in a way that is both compassionate and transformative.
Group Therapy
In group work, I offer a grounded, reflective space for shared exploration, insight, and connection. My current groups focus on dreams, symbols, tarot, and the deeper themes moving through our lives. Group can be a meaningful way to feel less alone, reflect in community, and engage your inner life with curiosity and depth. These offerings are therapist-led and reflective in nature, rather than skills-based or process-group focused.

Kyra is able to laugh and sigh with me - I don't feel like my problems are too insignificant to just express what I'm going through. I still struggle to put words to my emotions and issues, but getting them out there and being met with support is extremely rewarding. She feels like a therapist I am not judged by for having reoccurring blockages, and that is not a small feat.
