I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from USC, and I have been supporting individuals through life’s challenges for the past seven years. Throughout my career, I have worked with youth, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, and the ongoing impact of stress and emotional overwhelm. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, grounded, and infused with moments of humor when it helps create connection and ease. I draw from evidence based practices including EMDR, CBT, DBT, trauma informed care, and parts oriented work to create a therapeutic experience that feels personal and meaningful. My intention is to help clients understand themselves more deeply, process what has been weighing on them, and build the resilience and confidence needed to move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life. I believe healing is possible, and I am here to walk alongside you as you reconnect with your strength, clarity, and inner capacity for change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will take time to get to know each other and explore what brings you to therapy. I will ask questions about your current challenges, your history, and what you hope to gain from our work together. This helps me understand your needs and begin shaping a plan that feels supportive, realistic, and aligned with your goals. My priority is creating a space where you feel grounded, understood, and comfortable moving at your own pace.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a provider include creating a steady and supportive space where clients feel genuinely seen and understood. I integrate evidence based approaches such as EMDR, trauma informed care, CBT, and I tailor each session to meet the individual needs and readiness of every client. My background includes extensive experience supporting clients through trauma, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and moments of crisis, which allows me to hold complexity with calm and clarity. I pay close attention to both the emotional and physical expressions of distress, helping clients understand the deeper roots of their somatic responses and how these patterns developed over time. My work centers on building safety, strengthening regulation, and supporting clients in moving toward balanced, sustainable healing. I approach therapy with compassion, curiosity, and a belief in each person’s capacity to grow and reconnect with their inner resilience.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I support individuals who carry the weight of trauma, grief, chronic anxiety, and the emotional patterns that come from difficult or overwhelming life experiences. Many of my clients have spent years doing their best to hold everything together, often pushing through or intellectualizing their pain, and eventually noticing that their bodies and emotions are signaling a need for deeper healing. The people who work best with me are ready for grounded and meaningful work. They want to feel more regulated, connected, and understood, and they appreciate having guidance as they learn to slow down their nervous system, untangle old narratives, and respond with intention instead of reacting from stress or fear. They are tired of feeling stuck in cycles like rumination, self doubt, people pleasing, perfectionism, or ongoing anxiety, and they want tools that genuinely support change. I serve clients who are willing to show up authentically, explore their inner world with curiosity, and build the capacity to navigate discomfort as they move toward a more aligned and balanced version of themselves. Together, we make space for the parts of them that have felt overwhelmed or silenced, and we work toward healing that supports both emotional and physical well being.

My treatment methods

EMDR

As an LCSW, I use EMDR to help clients process distressing memories, emotional patterns, and experiences that continue to show up in the present. EMDR supports the brain in integrating these memories in a healthier and more adaptive way, reducing their emotional intensity and the symptoms that come with them. I have three years of experience using EMDR and have completed two formal trainings, along with ongoing consultations, conferences, and advanced workshops to deepen my skills. My approach to EMDR is steady, supportive, and client centered. I focus on building safety first, helping you feel grounded and prepared before moving into any deeper work. Together, we will move at a pace that feels right for you, with the goal of helping you understand your experiences, strengthen regulation, and create meaningful and lasting change.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another, especially during moments of stress, anxiety, or overwhelm. Together, we explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop practical strategies that support clearer thinking, healthier coping, and meaningful change. CBT is a collaborative and structured approach, and it focuses on building skills that you can apply in your everyday life. My intention is to create a supportive environment where you feel encouraged to reflect, experiment with new tools, and take steps that align with your goals and values. We move at a pace that feels comfortable, gradually strengthening your ability to respond to challenges with clarity and confidence.

Trauma Informed Care

In trauma informed therapy, the foundation is safety, empowerment, and understanding. This approach acknowledges how past experiences can shape emotions, behaviors, relationships, and the nervous system, and it supports you in rebuilding a sense of stability and trust within yourself. We work together to create a space where you feel grounded, respected, and in control of the pace and direction of your healing. Our work will focus on strengthening your resilience, expanding your capacity to navigate difficult emotions, and helping you reconnect with a sense of choice and clarity. Each step is guided by your needs and readiness, honoring your strengths while supporting you in moving toward meaningful and lasting healing.

Grief Therapy

Grief therapy offers a compassionate and steady space to process loss and the many emotions that often accompany it. Every grief experience is unique, and this approach honors your individual journey while supporting you in making sense of your feelings, memories, and the shifts that follow significant loss. Together, we move gently and intentionally, creating room for both the pain and the meaning that can emerge over time. Our work focuses on helping you navigate grief at a pace that feels right for you, while building comfort, connection, and a renewed sense of grounding. The goal is not to erase your loss but to support you in carrying it with greater ease, understanding, and emotional resilience.

Narrative

Narrative therapy supports you in exploring the stories you hold about yourself, your past, and your identity, and how these stories shape the way you move through the world. Together, we look at the narratives that may be limiting your sense of possibility and gently challenge the beliefs that no longer serve you. This approach highlights your strengths, values, and resilience, helping you recognize the parts of your story that reflect truth, capability, and growth. Our work focuses on helping you create a more empowering and aligned narrative, one that honors your experiences while supporting the person you are becoming. Through this process, you gain clarity, confidence, and a deeper understanding of your voice and your path forward.

Super knowledgeable, always brings me new perspectives and informations about mental health. A lot of “a-ha” moments with her. Also provides different approaches and solutions. Feels supportive and empowering when I speak with her.
