My goal is to look beyond the diagnosis, empower patients to take an active role in their care, and help them achieve meaningful, lasting improvements in their mental health and quality of life.
Strengths
As a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, my approach to care is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and individualized treatment. I pride myself on building genuine connections with patients, creating a safe, judgment-free environment where they feel heard, valued, and understood. I combine clinical expertise and evidence-based practice with a whole-person approach, recognizing that every individual's mental health journey is unique. My goal is to look beyond the diagnosis, empower patients to take an active role in their care, and help them achieve meaningful, lasting improvements in their mental health and quality of life.
Ideal clients
My ideal client is someone who is ready to prioritize their mental health, gain a better understanding of themselves, and work toward meaningful change. They may be struggling with anxiety, depression, mood changes, ADHD, or life transitions and are looking for compassionate, individualized support. I enjoy working with individuals who value an open, collaborative approach and want to feel heard, understood, and empowered in their treatment journey. I welcome patients wherever they are in their journey, meeting them with empathy, respect, and without judgment.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into my approach because I believe patients benefit from understanding the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. CBT provides practical, evidence-based tools to help individuals recognize unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and make meaningful changes in their daily lives. I value its collaborative and goal-oriented approach, which empowers patients to build confidence, improve emotional well-being, and develop skills that extend beyond the treatment setting.
