My name is Karine, I am a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I received my Master's degree in Nursing from California State University, Los Angeles. Practicing for the past 5+ years and committed to providing compassionate care to individuals across the lifespan. My approach blends medical expertise with empathic understanding, aiming for a comprehensive care strategy tailored to each individual's needs.
In the first session we will start with a brief introduction, my role and how I may be able to help my patients. During the first session I like to get to know my patients so that we can figure out a tailored treatment plan.
My greatest strength and what lead me to the profession of PMHNP is that I listen. I give patients the autonomy and guidance to collaborate with me the provider to live a safe and functional life. I do not believe in over prescribing
