New to Grow
If stress, anxiety, or relationships keep pulling you off balance, that’s worth addressing. My style is warm, direct, and practical, with humor when it helps you exhale. We’ll focus on boundaries, emotional safety, clear requests, and follow-through—so progress shows up outside session. CBT, Gestalt, Somatic, and Mindfulness techniques used. Client first. Before this career, I spent years in restaurants and behind the bar, where you learn fast how to read the room, listen between the lines, and help people feel advocate for themselves. That real world experience shaped how I show up in therapy: grounded, attentive, and genuinely interested in your story.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
You did not get a life-skills book when you were born. You are probably doing better than you think honestly; worry not I'll show ya. We’ll name what’s happening, identify patterns that keep repeating, and build tools you can actually use when stress hits—not just insights that sound good in session. Reaching out is hard AND you deserve to have a win today. A 15 minute consultation is the first thing we do followed by an intake assessment. We gather as much history as possible so we have have the foundation and bulld upon it.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I am very direct and practice assertive communication in session. Our therapeutic alliance has to be strong which I try to foster in every session. I do want the best for my clients and most of humanity lololol.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
You deserve support that doesn’t require explaining or defending who you are. Being competent, capable, and exhausted shouldn’t be the cost of success. You keep it together/act how you are perceived, solve problems, and push through… until your body starts calling the shots: anxiety spikes, sleep gets weird, patience runs thin, or you feel like you’re running on fumes. If that’s where you are, you’re not broken—you’re overloaded, and you don’t have to carry it alone.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
Being the client is also being the expert on your life. I have used techniques from this theory in nearly every session for the past 11 years. Ensuring the client is supported while understanding they have the resourcefulness for positive movement
Cognitive Processing (CPT)
CPT informed clinician. Recent 2 day training complete. CPT Reduces distress related to memories of trauma and decreases emotional numbing/avoidance of trauma reminders.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Thought Feeling and Action/Behaviors training. I have used techniques of CBT throughout the years.
Couples Counseling
Worked with a couple for over a year in the past. Education on integrative sex and couples therapy informed.
Gestalt
I have used Gestalt techniques in the past to integrate the pieces into a whole. I use techniques like shuttling when someone feels detached from themselves.
