“You don’t have to be brave all the time. You are not damaged or defeated. Have patience. Give yourself permission to grieve, cry and to heal. Allow a bit of compassion. Your doing the best you can. We all are”. - MB When my career began in 2015, I was providing services to adults in crisis. I then branched out to provide therapy services to children and families in an outpatient clinic setting along with providing school-based services to clients. Last year, I started providing therapy services to geriatric clients residing in a long term care facility. I also enjoy working with special need clients and helping all my clients reach their goals. When I am not working with clients, I enjoy spending time with my son and raising awareness for Cerebral Palsy. Many of my clients are affected by Cerebral Palsy as is my son Oliver.
First session
During your first appointment I will gather information related to your presenting concerns and we will get to know each other. We will work together to develop a plan for your therapy services. Therapy is a journey that consist of our therapeutic relationship and skill you can use to help improve your mental health.
Strengths
My greatest strength is creating a welcoming and judgement free environment. I also build a great rapport with clients. I feel it is important to start where the client is not where everyone thinks you should be. I am here to help clients improve their mental health and offer support in their daily lives.
