I’m a psychiatric nurse practitioner providing outpatient psychiatric care with a focus on mood disorders, anxiety, psychosis, and co-occurring conditions. I offer both medication management and psychotherapy, including acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), to help clients manage symptoms, build skills, and align their lives with what matters most to them. My approach is supportive, practical, and collaborative — aimed at helping clients navigate real-life challenges while feeling heard, respected, and empowered.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In a first appointment, you can expect a thoughtful and collaborative conversation about what brings you in, your history, and what you’re hoping to get out of treatment. We’ll talk about your symptoms, experiences, and goals, and I’ll answer any questions you have about how I work. My goal is to get a clear understanding of your needs so we can begin to shape a treatment plan together — whether that includes medication, therapy, or both. You won’t need to have everything figured out beforehand; we’ll take it one step at a time.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

One of my greatest strengths is blending clinical expertise with a grounded, human approach. I’m practical, thorough, and focused on helping people make sense of their experiences without judgment. Many of the people I work with have encountered mental health care before and left feeling like just another case. I aim to offer something different. I don’t just focus on symptoms — I focus on you as a whole person. I take time to understand how your life works, where you feel stuck, and what’s most important to you. My background allows me to navigate both the medical and psychological sides of care, but what sets me apart is how I use that knowledge — not in a one-size-fits-all way, but by collaborating with you to find realistic, meaningful ways forward that actually fit your life.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Many of the individuals I work with are navigating the ups and downs of mood disorders, anxiety, or psychosis, often while juggling the demands of work, relationships, or caregiving. Some have been in treatment before, while others are seeking help for the first time. What they tend to share is a desire for relief from overwhelming symptoms and a hope to better understand themselves. My patients are often thoughtful, resilient, and motivated — even when they don’t always feel that way — and they’re looking for practical support and guidance to help them move forward without losing sight of who they are.
