(she/her)
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience providing therapy. Many of the people I work with come to therapy because they are feeling stuck or overwhelmed, seeking relief from anxiety or depression, needing support as they adjust to a change in their life, or are wanting to develop a better understanding of themselves. While we don’t have control over some circumstances in life, we can work to optimally navigate what comes our way. My goal is to create a non-judgmental and supportive space for exploration and change and to help my clients improve their sense of well-being.
The first session is a chance to begin understanding what’s bringing you to therapy. I’ll gently guide the session and ask questions to better understand what you’ve been experiencing and what you’d like support with. I can provide you with more information on my approach and answer any questions that you might have. We may also begin identifying goals for therapy, and it’s okay if you’re not exactly sure what those are yet. We can start to figure that out together.
One of my greatest strengths is creating a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and accepted without judgment. I aim to support you in a way that feels genuine, while also helping you work toward meaningful changes. I take a collaborative approach, offering guidance and perspective while respecting your pace. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, build on your strengths, and move forward in a way that feels more manageable.

I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
My background and theoretical orientation are heavily influenced by cognitive behavioral therapy with elements of mindfulness and acceptance-based strategies. During therapy, we will look at the relationship between your thoughts, behaviors, and emotions and how they affect your daily experiences. We will identify key thoughts and specific barriers or behaviors that are interfering or impacting your quality of life. As we work together, I can offer tools and concepts that may be helpful for coping with difficult emotions, improving relationships, and changing unhelpful patterns.
