New to Grow
Hello, my name is Jearald. I am a compassionate and client-centered therapist dedicated to supporting individuals through life’s challenges in a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment. I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients build coping skills, increase self-awareness, and create meaningful, lasting change. I believe every client is unique, and I work collaboratively to help individuals feel empowered, understood, and supported throughout their healing journey.
During your first session, we will spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brings you to therapy. I will ask questions about your current concerns, personal history, goals, and any challenges you may be experiencing so I can better understand how to support you. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, share what you hope to gain from therapy, and become familiar with my approach.
What stands out about my therapeutic approach is that I keep therapy real, supportive, and easy to connect with. I’m a down-to-earth therapist who focuses on creating a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard without feeling overwhelmed by clinical jargon or “psycho-babble.” I believe therapy should feel like a genuine conversation while still providing meaningful tools and strategies for growth. My approach is practical, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s unique needs. I focus on helping clients better understand themselves, build coping skills, and make positive changes in ways that feel realistic and manageable for everyday life.
I do not have a dream client because I believe every client is unique and deserving of individualized care and support. I value building authentic, collaborative relationships with people from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. My approach is centered on meeting clients where they are, understanding their personal goals, and creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where they feel heard and empowered.
