Hi! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Lancaster, CA, with a Master's degree from Pepperdine University, and have been working as a therapist for the past 6 years. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and families, helping them navigate a variety of challenges such as conflict resolution, self-esteem, academic concerns, and social issues. My approach is client-centered and solution-focused, empowering individuals and families to find balance and improve their overall well-being.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will begin by getting to know each other through introductions, followed by a discussion about the specific concerns or challenges that brought you to therapy. I will ask questions to better understand your personal history, goals, and expectations for treatment. This session is an opportunity for you to share openly in a safe and non-judgmental environment. By the end of the session, we will establish a plan tailored to your needs, outlining potential strategies and goals to work on in subsequent sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a provider, my greatest strengths lie in my ability to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves. I have a strong foundation in evidence-based practices which allows me to tailor my approach to each client’s unique needs. Additionally, my focus on active listening and empathy enables me to build strong therapeutic relationships, which I believe is key to fostering meaningful and lasting change.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, I have extensive experience utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help clients address a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges. I work with individuals to identify and reframe negative thought patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and build practical skills to manage stress, anxiety, depression, and other concerns. By focusing on the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, my approach empowers clients to create meaningful change and improve their overall mental health and well-being.

Gender-affirming therapy

In my practice, I have extensive experience providing gender health and affirming therapy, focusing on creating a safe and supportive environment for individuals exploring or affirming their gender identity. I work collaboratively with clients to address their unique challenges, offering evidence-based interventions tailored to their specific needs. My approach prioritizes respect, inclusivity, and empowerment, ensuring that every person feels seen and validated in their journey. Through this work, I aim to support clients in building confidence, self-acceptance, and resilience as they navigate their gender identity and overall well-being.
