Hello! My name is Tiffany Perkins, LPC, LCPC, and I’m a licensed therapist in both Illinois and Georgia. I earned my Master’s degree from National Louis University in 2016 and have over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, with 5 years as an independently licensed clinician. I specialize in supporting teens, young adults, and adults navigating major life transitions, whether it's starting college, changing careers, or healing from breakups. My goal is to create a safe, affirming space to help you grow through what you’re going through.
In our first session, we’ll take some time to get to know each other. I’ll answer any questions you have and help ease any nerves you may be feeling. From there, I’ll ask some background questions to better understand what’s bringing you to therapy and what goals you’d like to work toward. The first session is all about creating a comfortable space and starting your journey at your own pace.
One of my greatest strengths as a provider is my ability to build genuine connections, helping clients feel seen, heard, and supported. I’m patient, professional, and down-to-earth, creating a safe and non-judgmental space where you can be yourself. I’m skilled at applying evidence-based techniques in a way that feels approachable and personalized, empowering you with the tools you need to navigate life confidently.
I’m best positioned to serve teens, young adults, and adults who are open to trying and ready to grow, even if they’re not quite sure where to start. I focus on building strong rapport so my clients feel seen, heard, and supported. Many of the individuals I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed or unequipped to manage life’s challenges. My role is to help you develop the tools you need to navigate life with more clarity, confidence, and resilience.

Eclectic
I take an eclectic and integrative approach to therapy, combining several evidence-based modalities to best support the unique needs of each client. My framework includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to challenge unhelpful thought patterns, Solution-Focused Therapy to highlight strengths and encourage forward movement, and Client-Centered Therapy to create a safe, empathetic, and nonjudgmental space for growth. I also incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques to assist with emotional regulation, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness, particularly for clients navigating intense emotions or relationship challenges. Additionally, I am trained in Brainspotting, a powerful brain-body-based approach that supports clients in processing trauma, emotional pain, and somatic distress by accessing the brain’s deeper healing capacities. This eclectic style allows me to tailor treatment to each individual’s goals, values, and life experiences, whether they are working through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, or major life transitions.

Mrs. Tiffany is amazing. I really enjoy talking with her, she’s patient, understanding, and so easy to open up to. She always follows up in the best way and gives advice that really sticks. I love how she asks questions that help me think and really understand how I feel. She’s made therapy such a comfortable and positive experience for me, and I’m really grateful for her. -Tammi🤍

I like how she's reminding me that healing takes time and that even when I feel like I haven't made any progress she reminds me that I have. I like how she encourages me to find two postive things that happen to me everyday so I wont think that all my days are just empty. Ms. Tiffany reminds me that there is a moving foward and that I have to give myself a little bit of grace when I take a few steps back somedays because in the end grieving someone takes time.

She is the best therapist that I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Very attentive and empathetic, she is solution oriented and not judgmental at all. 10 out of 10 for sure!
