With over a decade of experience, I’ve had the privilege of supporting children, teens, adults, and families through life’s most meaningful, challenging, and transformative moments. Trained in Australia—one of the world’s leaders in mental health care—and licensed in California and Utah (LPCC, CMHC), I am a board-certified DBT therapist who blends evidence-based methods with a warm, real, and collaborative style. My approach is always centered around you—your unique story, strengths, and goals—to provide personalized care that fosters meaningful healing and growth.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, you can expect a relaxed, supportive space where you’re free to show up just as you are—whether that’s from the comfort of your home, with your pet nearby, or even from your car. My style is conversational and collaborative, not clinical or stiff. I believe in building real, trusting relationships with my clients, and I take the time to truly get to know you and what matters most in your life. While I don’t carry your stress home with me, I do genuinely care about you and your wellbeing. Together, we’ll explore what brings you to therapy and begin identifying the goals and support you need to move forward, at your own pace.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my approach is the depth of connection I build with clients. I aim to create a space that feels less like a clinical appointment and more like a meaningful, supportive relationship. Clients often tell me they feel safe, truly heard, and able to open up in ways they haven’t with other therapists. I bring warmth, curiosity, and genuine care into our work, allowing space for humor, reflection, and real conversations. My methods blend evidence-based practices with an intuitive understanding of each client’s unique story, helping people not only gain insight but also feel empowered, seen, and deeply supported in their healing process.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m best positioned to support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, or relationship challenges. I work well with clients who are open to self-reflection and ready to build insight, develop coping tools, and create meaningful change. My approach is collaborative, culturally informed, and rooted in curiosity, compassion, and respect for your unique story. Ideally, my hope is that you will use this space as a place of respite and reflection. With a firm belief in client-centered care, I will always meet you where you are at.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I am a certified DBT (C-DBT) therapist and have effectively used this evidence-based modality to help clients build skills in emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. I’ve seen meaningful progress in clients struggling with anxiety, depression, and emotional dysregulation.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I integrate CBT to help individuals identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, reduce anxiety and depressive symptoms, and develop healthier coping strategies. I’ve seen clients gain clarity, confidence, and greater control over their emotional and behavioral responses.

Psychodynamic

I use a psychodynamic approach to help clients explore how past experiences and unconscious patterns influence present thoughts, feelings, and relationships. This insight-oriented work supports deeper self-understanding and long-term emotional growth

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I incorporate mindfulness-based therapy to help clients develop present-moment awareness, reduce reactivity, and build emotional resilience. This approach supports clients in managing anxiety, stress, and overwhelming emotions with greater self-compassion and clarity. We may start or end session with a mindfulness exercise so you are able to practice and develop this skill in real time.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I draw from a person-centered approach, creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly heard and accepted. By building a trusting therapeutic relationship, clients are empowered to access their own inner strengths and move toward personal growth and healing.
