Welcome! My name is Catherine Jaeger, LMFT and I have been practicing in California as a licensed therapist for over 17 years. I graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a Masters of Science in Counseling and have helped guide young adults into a brighter more optimistic future. I relate and have helped those experiencing the challenges of navigating relationships and the life decisions that can occur during such a significant period of life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, I will go over a brief introduction and then begin exploring the concerns you would like to addresss. As we build rapport I will begin to establish a specific treatment plan to help with those specific challenges.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have extensive experience working with young adults and am adept at connecting with them and meeting them at their current stage. This allows me to effectively support them through the various challenges life presents.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I specialize in helping young adults navigate the challenges of college and early career life. This period can be overwhelming due to the numerous life decisions they face, including academic and career choices, relationship dynamics, and personal development.

My treatment methods

Humanistic

I take a compassionate approach to treatment. Focusing on meeting clients where they are and addressing the whole person rather than just their symptoms creates a supportive and empathetic therapeutic environment.

Relational

understanding the complexity of human relationships and helping clients navigate their struggles is invaluable. It seems like you’ve developed a nuanced approach that acknowledges the uniqueness of each relationship while providing strategies for coping and improving them.
