(she/her)
Hi, I'm Victoria! I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist who supports individuals and couples navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, and emotional overwhelm. I specialize in helping clients deepen self-awareness, strengthen connections, and heal from patterns that no longer serve them. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, blending attachment-based work with mind-body techniques and practical tools to support lasting change. Whether you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, or simply ready to grow, I’m here to help you move forward with clarity, confidence, and care.
In our first session together, you can expect a welcoming, supportive space to begin getting to know one another. I’ll start by introducing myself and going over the limits of confidentiality, so you feel informed and safe in our work together. I’ll also share a bit about the importance of therapist-client fit, since finding the right connection is key to meaningful progress. From there, I’ll invite you to share whatever you feel comfortable with—there’s no pressure to dive into everything right away. I understand that opening up to someone new can feel vulnerable, and I’ll meet you with care, curiosity, and respect for your pace.
What sets my therapeutic approach apart is the blend of attachment-based understanding, mind-body awareness, and practical tools like CBT and solution-focused techniques. I create a compassionate, safe space where clients can explore their emotions, relationships, and patterns with curiosity and support. By integrating both deep healing and actionable strategies, I help clients build lasting resilience, stronger connections, and greater self-awareness. The result is meaningful, sustainable change that honors each person’s unique journey.
I’m best positioned to support individuals and couples who are looking to better understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that may be keeping them stuck. Many of my clients come in feeling overwhelmed, emotionally disconnected, or unsure of how to break free from anxiety, past wounds, or communication struggles. Others are navigating life transitions or seeking deeper alignment between their mind, body, and spirit. My clients are often reflective, growth-minded, and open to exploring both practical tools and deeper emotional work. If you're longing for more clarity, connection, and inner calm, I’d be honored to walk alongside you in that process.
I help clients explore how early attachment experiences have shaped their current ways of relating, while also tending to the nervous system, body awareness, and core beliefs. By creating a grounded and compassionate space, I support clients in developing secure connections—both with themselves and others. With couples, I guide partners in understanding their reactive cycles through the lens of unmet attachment needs, and in cultivating safety, empathy, and emotional attunement. My approach honors the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit in the healing process.
Alongside my attachment-based and holistic approach, I incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques to help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress and relational challenges. I work collaboratively with clients to increase awareness of the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and to develop more adaptive coping strategies. CBT provides practical tools that complement deeper relational and body-based work, offering clients both insight and actionable steps toward change. This integration supports clients in building resilience, emotional regulation, and greater self-compassion.
I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) as a foundational framework in my work to help individuals and couples feel more secure, connected, and understood in their relationships. EFT focuses on the negative interaction cycles, emotions and patterns that keep people stuck, and helps create new ways of relating that build trust and closeness. Through EFT, I help clients move from disconnection to closeness by reshaping emotional bonds from the inside out.
I also incorporate the mind-body approach in my practice, recognizing that our emotional experiences are deeply connected to our physical bodies. I help clients become more aware of how stress, trauma, and emotions show up somatically—through tension, fatigue, or other physical signals. Together, we explore practices like breathwork, grounding, and body awareness to support nervous system regulation and overall well-being. This approach allows for deeper healing by reconnecting clients to their inner wisdom and sense of wholeness.
Depending on the client’s needs and goals, I may incorporate Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help bring clarity and momentum to the healing process. This approach emphasizes strengths, resources, and what’s already working, allowing clients to focus on practical steps toward their desired outcomes. It can be especially helpful when clients are feeling stuck or overwhelmed, as it highlights hope and possibility. While I value deep, insight-oriented work, SFBT offers a supportive, goal-directed framework when short-term or focused guidance is most helpful.
