Greetings! I have devoted my career to supporting individuals living with chronic illnesses. With dual board certifications, I obtained my master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) from Howard University in 2002, followed by a PhD in nursing from the University of Phoenix. In 2022, I earned my Primary Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) board certification from the University of Massachusetts Global. My focus is on empowering adults who are struggling with anxiety and depression to become the best version of themselves.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll begin with brief introductions to get to know each other and establish a comfortable space for our work together. From there, we’ll dive into discussing the specific challenges you’re currently facing. This initial conversation will help me gain a clear understanding of your unique situation and allow us to begin developing a customized treatment plan tailored to your needs. Together, we’ll outline the next steps to work toward your mental health goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Here’s an improved version of your statement: With over three decades of experience working with adults facing multiple chronic health conditions, I’ve come to understand that each person is unique, with their own way of experiencing stress and health challenges. No matter the underlying cause, I believe that treatment should be tailored to the individual, focusing on creating a personalized plan that fosters measurable progress and supports long-term well-being.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I specialize in working with adults who are struggling to cope with stress, anxiety, and depression. My clients are motivated to make positive changes but may lack the necessary tools to address these issues effectively. Many of them feel overwhelmed by life's challenges, particularly those related to chronic diseases that impact their mental health.
