I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a passion for empowering individuals to overcome personal and professional barriers, and lead fulfilling lives. Being an introvert, I can truly understand others who have these traits and can help them identify any limiting beliefs, gain self-awareness, and utilize the benefits of those characteristics. As a therapist who deeply understands the lived experiences of BIPOC women, I help my clients process the impact of generational patterns, societal pressures, and internalized narratives that may be holding them back. I guide women in shifting their mindset, stepping into their confidence, and aligning their lives with their true desires.
I am here to allow you space and time to share what you have been experiencing. Even during the first session, I focus on helping you turn your focus to what you can and can’t change — ultimately: you, your choices, and your responses to events. We will spend some time getting to know you and the issues that brought you into treatment. I will ask questions about your presenting concerns, as well as your history and background. Most likely, you’ll find yourself talking about your current symptoms or struggles, as well saying a bit about your relationships, your interests, your strengths, and your goals.
My strengths are being relatable, direct, understanding, motivating, and enhancing. My approach is very supportive, validating, and direct. In this space, will allow you to re-build while settling the hurt, confusion, and disappointment.
I specialize in working with women of color who: ✔ Struggle with anxiety, overthinking, or self-doubt ✔ Experience imposter syndrome in the workplace or personal life ✔ Feel burnt out, overwhelmed, or stuck in their career or relationships ✔ Have difficulty setting boundaries and prioritizing self-care ✔ Need support navigating life transitions, leadership roles, or identity shifts
