New to Grow
My name is Ruby Rosenberg, and I’m a mental health therapist who has had the privilege of working with clients facing a wide range of diagnoses and life challenges. I’m also a third-generation social worker, which means supporting others has been woven into my life for as long as I can remember. I bring a grounded, compassionate, and collaborative approach to therapy, meeting clients exactly where they are while helping them move toward meaningful change. I’m passionate about creating a safe, supportive virtual space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, you can expect a calm, welcoming space where we’ll get to know each other and talk about what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, your history, and your goals so I can better understand how to support you. We’ll move at your pace, and there’s no pressure to share anything before you’re ready. By the end of the session, we’ll work together to outline a plan that feels supportive, realistic, and aligned with what you hope to gain from therapy. My priority is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and hopeful about the path forward.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
What stands out about my therapeutic approach is the balance I strike between empathy and practical, evidence-based strategies. I create a warm, collaborative space where clients feel understood, while also offering concrete tools they can apply in their daily lives. My work is grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, and a strengths-based perspective, allowing me to tailor each session to the unique needs of the individual. Clients often share that they appreciate my calm, supportive presence and the way I help them gain clarity, build resilience, and make meaningful, sustainable progress toward their goals.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I am best positioned to support adults who are navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship stress, work burnout, challenges with self-esteem, and more. I work well with clients who are seeking a supportive, nonjudgmental space to understand their emotions, build coping skills, and create meaningful change. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, working through past experiences, or simply ready to deepen your self-awareness, my goal is to meet you where you are and help you move forward with clarity, confidence, and renewed resilience.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In my practice, I use cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are interconnected. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns and explore the beliefs and automatic thoughts that shape their responses. Through structured exercises and collaborative goal-setting, we work to challenge cognitive distortions, develop more balanced perspectives, and practice healthier behavioral choices. This approach empowers clients with practical coping strategies and supports meaningful, lasting change.
