Hi! I'm a License Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Pittsburgh. PA. I graduated from Kean University in NJ and have been practicing for 12 years. I have experience with both inpatient and outpatient settings. I help adults 18 and up that are struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD and/or other life transitions. My goal is to help you be the best version of yourself.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions and your relevant mental health history, then dive into what struggles you are facing. This will help us collaborate and develop a plan to meet your goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I see each client as an individual and work toward helping the whole person. I use active and reflective listening to understand each person better.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with people that want to improve their lives but need a little guidance on getting and using the tools they need to handle life in a better way. My clients often feel overwhelmed and don't know where to begin but that's ok. That is the beginning of our journey together.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

My goal is to help you accept your negative thoughts, feelings or circumstances and increase your commitment to healthier goals and activities. I will guide you to a mindset where you realize some things are out of your control and how to navigate yourself accordingly.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is a common form of "talk therapy" that I use with clients to help them understand the connections between thoughts, emotions and behaviors. We will discuss cognitive restructuring, guided discovery, exposure therapy, behavioral activation, stress reduction techniques and journaling.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness helps you see the connection between "seeing" and "doing" and how it interacts with you as a whole person. Will discuss various mindfulness techniques to find the ones what work best for you.
