My practice provides a compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.
I take a collaborative, strengths-based approach to therapy, focusing on healing, improving communication, strengthening connections, and creating lasting positive change.
First session
Clients can expect a welcoming, comfortable, and judgment-free space where they can share their concerns, feel heard, and begin exploring what brought them to therapy. During our first session, we will get to know one another, discuss your current challenges, identify your needs and goals, and explore what you hope to gain from therapy. I will explain my approach, answer any questions, and work collaboratively with you to begin developing a path forward. There is no pressure to have everything figured out or to share more than you feel comfortable with. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling supported, understood, hopeful, and encouraged about the possibility of positive change.
Strengths
I bring warmth, empathy, authenticity, and a genuine desire to understand each client's unique experiences. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment where individuals, couples, and families feel comfortable being vulnerable and exploring meaningful change. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, while also incorporating practical tools and strategies to help clients navigate challenges, improve communication, strengthen relationships, and develop healthier patterns. I believe in meeting clients where they are, recognizing their strengths, and empowering them to move toward lasting growth and healing.
Ideal clients
My ideal clients are individuals, couples, and families who are open to exploring personal growth, navigating life's challenges, and creating healthier relationships. They may be experiencing communication difficulties, relationship struggles, life transitions, anxiety, family conflict, or feeling disconnected from themselves or others. I enjoy working with clients who are willing to be curious about their experiences, recognize patterns, and take steps toward positive change. Most importantly, I welcome anyone seeking a safe, supportive space to feel heard, gain understanding, heal, and develop the tools needed to build a more fulfilling life and stronger connections.
Origin story
I was inspired to become a therapist through a genuine passion for helping people navigate life's challenges, understand themselves more deeply, and build meaningful connections with others. I believe every person, couple, and family has the capacity for growth, healing, and change when given the right support and a safe space to be heard. I find it incredibly rewarding to walk alongside clients as they discover their strengths, overcome obstacles, strengthen relationships, and create healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Ongoing work together
Our ongoing work together will be a collaborative journey focused on understanding patterns, building healthier coping skills, strengthening relationships, and creating meaningful, lasting change. Each session will provide a supportive space to explore challenges, celebrate progress, and work toward the goals that matter most to you. We will regularly reflect on your growth, identify areas of improvement, and adjust our approach as your needs evolve. Progress may look different for everyone, but you may begin to notice improved communication, greater self-awareness, healthier boundaries, increased confidence, stronger emotional connections, and the ability to navigate challenges with greater clarity and resilience. My goal is to empower you with the insight and tools to create lasting positive changes both in and outside of therapy.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that may be contributing to emotional distress, relationship difficulties, or challenges in daily life. Through practical strategies and guided self-reflection, clients learn to challenge negative thinking, develop healthier perspectives, and build effective coping skills. My goal is to empower clients to recognize patterns, make intentional changes, and develop tools they can use beyond the therapy room to support lasting emotional well-being and healthier relationships.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
I incorporate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help couples and individuals better understand their emotional experiences and strengthen their connections with others. This approach focuses on identifying underlying emotions, recognizing negative interaction patterns, and understanding the attachment needs that influence relationships. In sessions, I help clients create space for vulnerability, improve emotional communication, and develop greater trust, security, and connection. My goal is to help clients move away from cycles of conflict or disconnection and toward healthier, more secure, and meaningful relationships built on understanding, compassion, and emotional safety.
