About me

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who supports adolescents, adults, and aging clients that are in need of navigating stress, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem challenges, and major life transitions. I’ve spent years helping high-responsibility people—veterans, professionals, caregivers—find clarity and steadiness again. My style is warm, direct, and deeply supportive. I believe you already carry the strength you need to heal, and my job is to help you access it with more ease and confidence.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect a grounded, welcoming space to talk about what’s been weighing on you. I’ll ask questions to understand your history, what you’ve been carrying, and what you hope to change. Together, we’ll identify your immediate needs and start shaping a plan that feels realistic and supportive. You'll leave knowing that I am a supportive therapist that cares for you finding clarity in whatever you bring into each and every session!

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my therapeutic approach is that I create a space where honesty, clarity, and emotional safety actually coexist. I’m direct but deeply attuned, and I help clients make sense of their patterns in real time so they can understand not just what they’re feeling, but why. My work is collaborative, structured, and grounded in practical strategies that clients can apply immediately. The result is that people walk away with sharper self-awareness, healthier boundaries, better communication, and a stronger sense of personal control and emotional resilience.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I use a collaborative, trauma-informed, and whole-person approach. My work blends evidence-based practices with practical tools that help you understand your patterns, regulate your emotions, and reconnect with your sense of self. Therapy with me is a space where you can slow down, be honest, and feel supported without judgment. We’ll work together to build insight, resilience, and the internal clarity you need to move forward.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

I use attachment theory by paying attention to how clients protect themselves in relationships and how those patterns show up with me in the room. I name those patterns gently, offer consistent attunement, and use rupture-and-repair to model secure connection. Over time, the therapeutic relationship becomes a corrective emotional experience that helps clients build new internal expectations of safety, trust, and connection.

Eclectic

I blend multiple evidence-based methods into something that actually fits the client in front of me. I pull from cognitive, behavioral, trauma-informed, relational, and somatic frameworks as needed, shifting between them based on what the moment calls for. My style is flexible but intentional—I stay grounded in clear goals while adjusting techniques to match each client’s strengths, coping style, and lived experience. This eclectic approach allows me to address the whole person, not just symptoms, and clients typically experience deeper insight, practical skills they can use right away, and meaningful progress that feels sustainable across their real life.

Multicultural

I recognize that identity, culture, lived experience, and societal context shape how people cope, communicate, and heal. I intentionally create space for those layers—race, gender, family culture, community expectations, spirituality, and systemic pressures—because they matter. I don’t treat clients as isolated individuals; I consider the environments that shaped them. This allows me to adjust my interventions so they’re culturally aligned, respectful, and actually relevant. Clients often tell me they feel seen in a way they haven’t before, and that sense of validation helps them make deeper, more authentic progress.
