Welcome! Your feelings and experiences matter, and therapy can be a supportive space for you to gently process your story and build emotional resilience. Whether you are a working professional, parent, or individual navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, or life transitions, I can help you discover greater clarity, balance, and confidence. You may be carrying a lot quietly, feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected while still managing daily responsibilities. In our work together, we slow things down so you can explore what you’re carrying, recognize emotional patterns, and reconnect with your values. My style is compassionate, collaborative, and goal oriented. I create a nonjudgmental space where you can explore emotions without shame and begin healing with strength. Through active listening, assertive communication, and genuine compassion, we’ll explore growth areas and build practical coping skills that support resilience and hope.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll complete a brief intake assessment and take time to understand what’s been bringing you in and what you’d like support with during this season of your life. I’ll ask some thoughtful questions so I can get a clearer picture of your needs, and you’ll also have space to share at your own pace. We’ll also spend time getting to know each other and seeing how it feels to work together, as building a safe and supportive connection is an important part of the process.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths include creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to be open and honest, while offering a compassionate and collaborative approach that balances emotional support with practical, goal-oriented work. I specialize in supporting clients with anxiety, trauma, depression, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, substance use, stress, and life transitions, offering care that considers the whole person. My approach integrates mind, body, and spirit, exploring how thoughts, emotions, physical experiences, and (when relevant) faith all play a role in healing and growth. I am attentive to each client’s unique story and adapt my approach to fit individual needs, helping clients build insight, develop coping skills, and move toward meaningful and lasting change. I also offer parent coaching focused on strengthening communication, understanding behavior, and supporting emotional regulation in children and teens.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Clients I work well with are open to self-reflection and willing to engage in the therapeutic process, even when it feels challenging. They may be navigating anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, or life transitions, and are motivated to make meaningful change. I value working with individuals who are curious about themselves and committed to building healthier patterns and greater emotional balance over time.

My treatment methods

Christian Counseling

In my practice, Christian counseling is an approach that integrates faith-based values with standard counseling principles. It offers space to talk through life challenges while also considering spiritual beliefs as a source of support, meaning, and guidance.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, CBT is a practical, goal-focused approach that helps people understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. We look at unhelpful thinking patterns and how they may be affecting emotions and actions, then work on realistic ways to shift those patterns. The focus is on building skills you can use in everyday life to manage stress, anxiety, and other challenges more effectively.

Compassion Focused

In my practice, Compassion-Focused Therapy helps people relate to themselves with more kindness, especially when they are dealing with shame, self-criticism, or difficult emotions. We work on building a more supportive inner voice and strengthening a sense of safety and understanding toward yourself. The goal is to develop emotional balance and resilience through self-compassion and healthier ways of responding to distress.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

In my practice, DBT focuses on helping people manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and cope with stress in healthier ways. It combines practical skills for calming the mind, staying present, and responding more effectively in difficult situations. The work often includes learning tools for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and communication so clients can feel more steady and in control in daily life.

Eclectic

In my practice, an eclectic approach means I draw from different therapy methods rather than using just one. I tailor the work to each person’s unique needs, goals, and preferences, using the tools and ideas that feel most helpful at the time. This flexible approach allows therapy to stay responsive and practical as things change over the course of treatment.
