New to Grow
Starting therapy takes courage, and having a space where you feel safe and understood can make that process less overwhelming. I take an integrative approach to therapy, with a particular focus on relationships and codependency, childhood trauma, attachment challenges, and experiences of loss and grief. I would be honored to hear your story and be a part of your journey.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
The first session is focused on creating a safe, supportive space where we can get to know each other. We’ll explore your background, current concerns and goals for therapy. This session is also a chance for you to ask questions about my approach and to make sure we’re a good fit for working together.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I bring empathy and a nonjudgmental presence to every session, helping clients feel seen and understood.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
Often my clients are introspective, highly sensitive (HSP), are in the creative fields and searching for a deeper understanding of themselves.
Psychodynamic
I assist clients with increasing awareness of how their past experiences influence their current relationships, emotions, and behaviors.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
I assist clients in understanding core emotions that may be difficult to put into words and processing them.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I incorporate mindfulness and distress tolerance skills to support clients in staying present with difficult emotions, particularly in relational contexts where old attachment patterns are activated.
