As mentioned before, I was a CPS Social Worker before I was a therapist. Both of my degrees are in Social Work. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and hold licenses in California, Washington, and Oregon. I am very responsive, and your story matters to me. I have been practicing for 3 years. I assist clients ages 12 and older who are struggling with their mental health.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I have a laid back approach. My first session involves learning more about what your needs are, providing information about how I work, and then assigning homework so we can begin to address the issues you want to work on.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with families struggling with mental health issues, and often in crisis, I have gained a strong insight into the dynamics that impact families and create longlasting negative issues.

My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

Prior to becoming a therapist, I was a social worker for 27 years, and have worked in the field of social services for over 31 years. I have experience working with adult survivors of child abuse, child neglect, domestic violence, commercial exploitation, and rape. Over the last three years, most of my therapeutic services have been provided to those dealing with CPTSD and/or PTSD, alhtough I am open to individuals suffering any mental health issues.

Transpersonal

In my practice, I encourage your spiritual/religious connections. Additionally, I encourage Earthing and other mindfulness techniques to assist with emotional disregulation and to help with your overall healing.

Eclectic

Journaling assignments, journaling shadow work, and journaling of dreams/nightmares are utilized to further insight into your issues and their cause, which helps to promote healing and stop unhealthy patterns of behavior.
