(she/her)
I am a Texas Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Approved Clinical Supervisor (LCSW-S). I obtained my Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. Over the past 12 years, I have worked intensively with adult clients managing depression, anxiety, stress, loss, PTSD, along with coping with societal expectations and major life transitions. I aim to create authentic, unfiltered, and unapologetic spaces of healing and growing where you release yourself from societal expectations and create positive narratives that are aligned with who you are and where you are in your life right now.
The first therapy session is all about getting to know you. We’ll take time to discuss what brought you to therapy, what you hope to gain, and any goals or concerns you might have. This is a space for you to share your story at your own pace, there’s no pressure or expectation to have everything figured out. We’ll also talk about what therapy will look like moving forward, including boundaries, confidentiality, and what you can expect from me as your therapist. Most importantly, this session is about building trust and helping you feel safe and supported as we begin your journey toward healing and growth.
I bring over 15 years of experience working with individuals across various populations to improve mental health and emotional well-being. My strength lies in creating a collaborative, safe, and engaging therapeutic environment where clients can learn effective coping skills and experience meaningful growth. My approach balances gentleness and accountability. I provide a compassionate space for healing while also encouraging clients to take active steps toward their goals. I believe lasting change happens when kindness, patience, and grace meet intentional effort and self-discovery.
My ideal client is someone who feels stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about how to move forward after life’s challenges. They may be carrying the weight of isolation, fear, or self-doubt, yet deep down they desire change and healing. They are ready, perhaps cautiously, to begin the journey toward rediscovering their inner strength, renewing their mind, and reclaiming peace. I work best with those who are willing to show up with courage and vulnerability, even when it feels uncomfortable, trusting that together we can create a safe space for growth, truth, and transformation.
Attachment-based
My approach is collaborative, solution-focused, client-centered, and strength-based. To help my clients facilitate real change, I use a combination of therapeutic treatment modalities to help identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, as well as explore your own motivation for behavior change. I believe that everyone has the ability to heal themselves; sometimes you just need a little guidance and extra tools along the way.
