Hi there! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Maryland, with over a decade of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges. I earned my MS in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and have been practicing in Maryland for 10 years and Pennsylvania for the past two. My approach is grounded in helping people navigate both short-term stressors and long-standing struggles by tapping into their inner strengths. Whether you're facing anxiety, life transitions, or chronic stress, I work collaboratively to help you build resilience, find clarity, and move toward a more fulfilling life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and talk about what’s bringing you in. I’ll listen closely to your story, your goals, and what feels most important to you right now. Together, we’ll begin shaping a plan that reflects your values and strengths, and supports the kind of change you’re hoping for. This process is always collaborative — you’re the expert on your life, and I’m here to walk alongside you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to meet people exactly where they are — with warmth, curiosity, and respect. Clients often tell me they feel genuinely seen and heard in our work together, and that’s no accident. I bring a calm, grounded presence to each session, paired with a deep understanding of how stress, trauma, and life transitions impact the whole person. What sets me apart is my ability to synthesize a wide range of therapeutic approaches — from EMDR and CBT to mind-body work and motivational interviewing — into a flexible, personalized experience that honors your unique story. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. I believe in building something that fits you. Over the past 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life. Through these experiences, I’ve developed a collaborative, strengths-based approach that honors your unique story. Together, we’ll identify what’s already working for you, explore what’s getting in the way, and co-create a personalized path forward — one that feels meaningful, manageable, and grounded in your goals.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with adults of all ages, including those navigating chronic health conditions, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I also support neurodivergent individuals and those managing caregiver stress, professional burnout, or complex grief. My practice is inclusive and affirming, and I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds and identities.

My treatment methods

EMDR

I have two years of experience using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients shift patterns rooted in trauma. I completed basic EMDR training in 2023 and am preparing to begin consultation toward certification. Trauma — whether experienced in childhood or adulthood — can leave a lasting imprint, often shaping how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world in painful ways. In my work with EMDR, I’ve witnessed how this approach can gently and powerfully help people reprocess those experiences, leading to greater freedom, creativity, and emotional relief. EMDR is one of the tools I offer when it aligns with your goals and feels right for your healing journey.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I often incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into my work as a practical, empowering tool for change. CBT isn’t about “fixing” you — it’s about helping you notice patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that may no longer serve you, and exploring new ways of responding that align with your values and goals. Together, we’ll gently examine how your inner dialogue and beliefs shape your experience, and we’ll co-create strategies that feel authentic and manageable. CBT can be especially helpful for anxiety, depression, and stress-related concerns, but I always tailor it to your unique story. You set the pace, and I’ll support you in building insight, confidence, and practical skills that foster lasting change.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I also draw from Solution-Focused Therapy, which emphasizes your strengths, resources, and capacity for change. This approach isn’t about analyzing what’s “wrong” — it’s about exploring what’s possible. We’ll focus on your goals, your vision for a preferred future, and the small steps that can help you get there. Together, we’ll identify what’s already working in your life, amplify those successes, and build on them in ways that feel realistic and empowering. This approach can be especially helpful when you’re feeling stuck or overwhelmed, offering a hopeful and practical path forward that’s grounded in your own wisdom and resilience.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational Interviewing is another approach I use to support clients who feel ambivalent about change or unsure where to start. It’s about creating a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore your own motivations. I won’t push or prescribe — instead, I’ll walk alongside you as we clarify your values, strengthen your confidence, and uncover the reasons that matter most to you. This approach is especially helpful when you're navigating transitions, working through stuck points, or trying to make meaningful shifts in behavior. Together, we’ll build momentum at your pace, honoring your autonomy every step of the way.

Mind-body approach

I also incorporate a mind-body approach into therapy, recognizing that emotional and physical experiences are deeply interconnected. This means honoring the wisdom of your whole self — not just your thoughts, but also the sensations, signals, and rhythms of your body. Together, we’ll explore how stress, trauma, and emotion show up physically, and how practices like breathwork, grounding, yoga and mindful awareness can support healing and regulation. This approach can be especially helpful for clients navigating chronic stress, trauma, or health conditions. It’s always collaborative and paced to your comfort, helping you reconnect with your body in ways that feel safe, empowering, and restorative.
