I invite you to explore a comprehensive, whole-person approach to your mental health needs. I will offer you a unique care plan utilizing pharmaceutical medications, non-pharmaceutical supplements, therapy/lifestyle coaching, functional medicine testing, and mind-body medicine like guided meditations to help you reclaim confidence and acceptance, and to have more connection with yourself and others with the ultimate goal of healing and accessing your body's own innate healing capabilities instead of complete lifetime reliance on a health care system for your mental health needs.
Our first session together is 1 hour where we get to know each other, and I learn about what your concerns are and what's important to you. We can then start creating a treatment plan together to support your journey.
I love meeting my clients where they are at and everyone is different. Therefore, the path will be uniquely yours. I listen to understand what's important to you, and then I also frequently check in with you see see if we're on the right track. You'll feel listened to and valued as a member of your own health care. Sometimes you may need just space to talk about what's happening and no treatment or medications are needed.
I serve clients 18+, young adults, women, and older adults. I see a variety of conditions and am well versed in all mental health concerns. I am open to seeing 16+ on a case by case basis, and with collaboration with a therapist or other provider.
I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner and I predominately provide integrative, holistic medication management of mental health issues. Therapy is incorporated into appointments if needed, but isn't the predominant focus of our appointment. I do functional medicine and lifestyle assessment, and offer a unique treatment plan for you.
I have come to value ACT as a method to use within appointments. This is how clients learn to stop avoiding, denying, and struggling with their inner emotions and, instead, accept that these deeper feelings are appropriate responses to certain situations that should not prevent them from moving forward in their lives. With this understanding, clients begin to accept their hardships and commit to making necessary changes in their behavior, regardless of what is going on in their lives and how they feel about it.
