About me

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who provides a warm, collaborative, and compassionate space for adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, and trauma. My approach is integrative, combining psychodynamic therapy, DBT, mindfulness, attachment-based work, and practical coping strategies to help clients better understand themselves while creating meaningful change. I also incorporate mind-body awareness when appropriate, supporting clients in feeling more grounded, connected, and confident in their ability to move forward.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. We will talk about what you have been experiencing, what feels most important right now, and what you hope to gain from our work together. There is no expectation that you share everything at once—therapy can unfold at a pace that feels comfortable and supportive. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, more grounded, and with a clearer sense of how we can move forward together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring a grounded, compassionate presence to therapy while helping clients move beyond simply understanding why they feel the way they do. My approach combines deeper insight with practical tools, allowing us to explore longstanding patterns while also building skills that support change in everyday life. I draw from psychodynamic therapy, DBT, mindfulness, attachment-based work, and mind-body awareness, and I tailor treatment to the individual rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. I also believe strongly in helping clients recognize their own strengths, progress, and capacity for growth.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are teens and adults who may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck in unhealthy patterns, navigating relationship or family challenges, grieving a loss, or adjusting to a major life transition. They may understand some of what they are struggling with but want support going deeper, building healthier coping skills, and feeling more confident in themselves. I work especially well with clients who are open to self-reflection, curious about their patterns, and ready to make meaningful changes at a pace that feels manageable and supportive.

My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

My approach is warm, collaborative, and integrative. I combine deeper exploration of emotional and relationship patterns with practical skills from DBT, mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, attachment work, and trauma-informed care. I want clients to gain insight while also leaving therapy with tools they can use in everyday life.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use DBT skills to help clients manage emotions, cope with stress, improve communication, and respond more effectively to difficult situations. We may focus on mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and healthy relationship skills.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I use a person-centered approach by creating a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard and understood. I focus on each client’s strengths, values, and goals while helping them build greater self-awareness, confidence, and trust in themselves.

Psychodynamic

I use psychodynamic therapy to help clients understand how past experiences, relationships, and emotional patterns may be influencing their present lives. Together, we explore these patterns with curiosity so clients can gain insight and make more intentional choices.
