Hi, my name is Jennifer and I am looking forward to helping you as you explore, learn and grow through therapy. Therapy is a personal journey of healing, growth, self-love and empowerment. No two people will have the same experience. I offer a collaborative safe space for individuals to express themselves. My goal as a therapist, and as a person, is to always make sure that everyone feels welcomed, valued, and accepted. I want everyone to feel like they are in control of their life and can cope with anything that comes their way.
We will work together to develop goals to assist you with reaching your desired outcome and helping you become the best version of yourself. We will achieve this by finding effective coping strategies and increasing self-awareness to promote positive outcomes and navigate through the daily stressors of life.
I approach therapy with a holistic person-centered view. When it comes to therapy methods, I believe there is not a "one size fits all" approach. I have been trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy and treatment for substance use disorders.
I am a firm believer in helping individuals become advocates for themselves and encouraging people to find their voice. I want to empower you to create a healthy balanced life.
