Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

At your first session, we will spend time completing your initial assessment where I will learn more about your history, family structure, history of therapy, and more. We will begin to formulate some of your beginning therapeutic goals. From there, we will figure out a consistent schedule for sessions that feels best for you, and start your journey together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My style is individualized to each person and their specific needs. I believe it is a team effort, and the best results come from having someone who is walking beside you through the process.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

If you are struggling with anxiety, trauma, depression, grief, life stressors, ADHD, or additional life stressors, I am here to support you.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients recognize and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. We work together to identify negative thinking, challenge distorted beliefs, and develop healthier coping strategies. I also incorporate behavioral techniques like exposure, behavioral activation, or skill-building to create lasting change. It’s a structured, collaborative approach that empowers clients to manage their emotions and reactions more effectively.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I use mindfulness-based therapy to help clients develop present-moment awareness, reduce reactivity, and build self-compassion. Through breathwork, and mindful observation, clients learn to notice thoughts and emotions without judgment. This approach is especially useful for managing anxiety, trauma, and emotional distress by fostering acceptance and intentional responses rather than automatic reactions

Relational

"I use relational therapy to explore how clients' past and present relationships shape their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By focusing on patterns in their interactions, both inside and outside of therapy, we work to improve communication, build secure connections, and address relational wounds. The therapeutic relationship itself serves as a space for healing, insight, and growth.

Strength-Based

"I use strength-based therapy to help clients identify and build on their existing strengths, resilience, and resources. Rather than focusing solely on problems, we explore past successes, personal values, and innate abilities to foster confidence and empowerment. This approach encourages a positive, solution-focused mindset that supports growth and lasting change.

Narrative

I use narrative therapy to help clients explore and reshape the stories they tell about themselves and their experiences. By identifying dominant narratives, challenging limiting beliefs, and highlighting strengths, clients can rewrite their stories in a way that fosters empowerment, resilience, and new possibilities for change.
