New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who provides a supportive, thoughtful space for individuals navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and the impact of difficult or painful experiences. My approach is collaborative and tailored to the individual, I believe therapy should help you better understand yourself, recognize the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical tools to create meaningful change in your everyday life.
Our first session is an opportunity for me to get to know you beyond the concerns that brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what has been happening, what feels most important right now, and what you hope will be different as a result of our work together. There is no expectation that you share everything at once or know exactly where to begin. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, with a clearer sense of what we may work on together and how therapy can support you moving forward.
I bring warmth, curiosity, honesty, and a genuine desire to understand each person’s experience. I’m especially interested in helping clients connect the dots between how their brain works, their emotions, past experiences, relationships, and current patterns. For clients with ADHD, this often means moving beyond simply trying harder and developing strategies that actually work with the way they think and function. I balance insight and emotional exploration with practical tools, and I’m not afraid to gently challenge clients when it can help them move toward meaningful change.
My ideal client is someone who wants to better understand themselves, not simply manage symptoms. You may be struggling with ADHD, anxiety, depression, feeling overwhelmed, or patterns in your life that you recognize but haven’t been able to change. You may even understand intellectually what you “should” do, yet find that knowing and doing are two very different things. I work well with clients who are curious about their own experiences and ready to explore not only what is happening, but what may be underneath it. You don’t have to arrive with all the answers, just a willingness to begin looking.
