I am a licensed mental health and substance use counselor with 11 years of experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Over the years, I’ve supported clients facing a variety of challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, life transitions, imposter syndrome, and self-esteem concerns. My approach to therapy is collaborative and compassionate. I meet you where you are, taking the time to understand your unique experiences and goals. Together, we’ll explore the changes you’d like to see in your life, whether that means navigating a relationship transition with greater understanding and grace, building a stronger sense of self, or developing tools to better manage life’s ups and downs. I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to work toward the growth and healing you deserve. Let’s take the first step together.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

We will discuss the reasons why you've come to therapy in the first place. You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable; we will take therapy at your own pace. After a picture is painted of what your life has been like for you, we will shift our focus to what it is that you want your life to look like. Setting boundaries? Working through past traumas? Want to build your self-esteem? Heal relationships with others? Improve communication? We can work on setting and working toward goals together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I tend to work from a basis of CBT, examining how your thoughts, feelings and behaviors impact relationships in your life; however, I have a wide range of tools and modalities to utilize in the course of our time together!

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

It's important to recognize your emotional state and how it impact your relationships, which is DBT's foundation.
