I come from a multi-cultural background and work well with people with complex identities and lived experiences who don't fit neatly into a box. My work is informed by my experience of immigrating and navigating cultures, healing through loss and grief, navigating love and heartbreak, exploring art, music, and movement, and learning from the wisdom in nature and plant medicines.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session will be an opportunity to get a feel for each other, and for me to understand your background and current context. You'll get to ask me any questions to get a sense of how well we will work together.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I see therapy as an art of possibilities—a space to tune into your intuition, desire for change, and expand your sense of what is possible. In our sessions, we will explore the nuance and complexities of your life, and help you move into the direction that you're called towards. My approach is informed by somatic and movement practices, breathwork and meditation, expressive arts and drama therapy, and cultural artforms of resistance such as the Afro-Brazilian Capoeira

By working with awareness, we will increase your sense of choice and deepen the understanding of yourself.
Somatic
I provide guidance on connecting with your body, understanding how to work with emotions, and using somatic approaches to self-regulate
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I offer visualization and meditative exercises to help you achieve a sense of calm and ease, and to receive visions, intuitions and wisdom to guide you through your current path.
