Hi! I'm a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I received my Masters from the Pace University and the University of Buffalo. I have been practicing for 10 years. I provided primary care and psychiatric support. I support clients dealing with depression, anxiety, and general life stressors struggling to become the best versions of themselves. I provide a plan of care that may include medication to assist clients in managing symptoms.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, assess psychiatric issues that has been occurring. If medication therapy is of choice, I will work with you to find the best medication to assist with your symptoms.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
Working in primary care and psychiatry, I can look at the person holistically. I try to tailor a treatment plan based on a general overview of the client.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work with clients who require medications to deal with depression, anxiety, Bipolar disorder, stress, ADHD, OCD and other psychiatric conditions.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I believe that a persons thoughts, emotions and actions are connected. The way we think and feel affect our reactions. Identifying these issues will allow one to replace self-defeating thoughts with more encouraging and realistic ones. Utilizing this approach along with providing medication management can assist one in managing any issues or problem effectively.
