New to Grow
Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience working with adults, adolescents and children in a variety of settings. I enjoy coming alongside clients to empower them towards healing and growth. I will meet you where you are at and help you to discover your unique strengths and abilities that will help you to overcome your challenges.
I believe that a good therapeutic relationship is as important as the work we do in therapy. During our first session we will work on building rapport. We will then talk about what brings you to therapy, your goals for therapy, and create a plan for moving forward.
I tend to utilize an eclectic approach to therapy-pulling from evidence based approaches that are going to be the most helpful to my clients and their unique struggles. If something is not working for you, I welcome that conversation so that we can change the approach as needed. Above all, I will walk with you with compassion, empathy and without judgement.
I have a passion for working with women struggling with relationship issues and parenting, as well as mental health concerns. I also really enjoy working with adolescents and young adults and helping them navigate through life's challenges. I strive to create a safe place for my clients to feel comfortable to share and be vulnerable. I believe I bring compassion and understanding to the relationship with my clients.
