I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Florida International University, a Master of Social Work degree from Catholic University of America, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in International Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I bring experience from working with individuals, families, government agencies, and major insurance companies.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I have a passion for creating an open and safe space for under-represented clients. My work includes a special focus on the unique challenges faced by those individuals and the cultural milieu potentially influencing the phenomenon they face. The first session will embody this environment, but mostly focus on completing administrative tasks, such as conducting an assessment and identifying your goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Over the past 15 years, having worked in various mental health settings, including clinics and non-profit organizations, I have learned to value and promote diversity and inclusion, identifying myself as belonging to several minority and underserved populations.
