Your needs are unique to you and I'm prepared to utilize my strengths in empathy, compassion, non-judgment, and evidence-based practices to provide a safe space for you to explore those. Together, we will uncover the tools and strategies that best suit your individual needs, allowing you to overcome challenges, break free from self-limiting beliefs, and pursue a life of wellness that is fulfilling and authentic.
In our first session I'll take the time to explain my role and what you can expect from me for the duration of our professional relationship. Then we'll spend most of our time uncovering your history, road blocks, strengths and what you hope to accomplish with our time together. Goal setting is an integral part of our process so we'll collaborate each and every session to identify the next steps you to which you'll be pointing your efforts.
Gottman Method interventions aren't just for couples counseling! These interventions can be used to foster growth in setting healthy boundaries, and communicating better at work; the applications are nearly endless. I love combining these interventions with the others mentioned to help both individuals and couples experience the growth they're craving.

My husband and I are going through a lot right now and Brittany completely validated our experiences and did not make us feel ashamed of our responses to one another. She is caring, funny, down to earth, and easy to talk to. She is straight forward and has given us so much hope. I am so thankful that we are working with her.

I love working with Brittany. I was looking for someone who would be a good listener and not pressure me to do more than I feel ready for, and she does just that. I highly recommend Brittany for anyone who needs a safe space to just talk it out and feel validated in their experiences!
I've been using REBT in group, individual and even couples counseling settings for more than 10 years! I like to consider REBT the "older, cooler cousin" of CBT. This technique allows us to track the most unhelpful parts of your mental narrative, identify the emotions that inevitably follow and rewrite or restate that narrative in a way that neutralizes the threat the narrative was posing on your mental health. It's absolutely one of my favorite ways to help clients navigate their anxious or self-deprecating thoughts.
