Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counsellor (LPC) based in Georgia. I received my Masters in Clinical Mental health counseling from the Mercer University and have been practicing for 7 years. I help adults struggling with career stress, life stressors, relationship challenges and struggles within emotional management become the best versions of themselves, while also working to help them best address any past challenges that may be currently impacting their lives and relationships.
First session
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions and answering any questions about the therapeutic process, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing in your life. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Strengths
Having worked with a diverse range of clientele for the past 10 years within community mental health and outpatient therapy practices, I've developed flexibility in being able to meet people where they are within their lives and work to help them in woking towards their goals in ways that allow them to feel heard and help in seeing the benefits of progress in the use of therapy.
Ideal clients
My dream clients are motivated in working to address challenges within their lives, are open to working to improve things in their lives, but may have challenges in working to best address issues that they may experience.
Treatment methods
Trauma-Focused CBT
I have helped clients in working to understand the impact of trauma within one’s life and learn methods in which one can better manage responses to stressors within one’s life and address stated goals. I have used this therapeutic method to aid client in working to be more in control of their lives in th basis of processing and working through traumas in a safe environment.
Group Therapy
I have led groups in a number of previous positions that focused on a variety of topics such as men’s and women’s trauma, Life Skills groups, and challenges in working to address common group topics.
