I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can finally exhale — where you don’t have to hold everything together or have all the answers. I work with individuals who are feeling overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or longing for deeper peace and clarity in their lives and relationships. My approach is warm, attuned, and grounded in trauma-informed care, blending EMDR, CBT, DBT, and somatic therapy to support real and lasting change. Together, we create a space where you can feel safe to be fully yourself while building the confidence, resilience, and self-trust needed to move forward.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is designed to feel calm, spacious, and deeply supportive. This is a time for you to slow down, settle in, and begin sharing what has been weighing on you at a pace that feels comfortable. You do not need to have the “right words” or a clear starting point — together, we will gently explore what is bringing you to therapy and what you are hoping to feel differently in your life. I will ask thoughtful questions to understand your emotional world, life experiences, and the patterns that may be keeping you feeling stuck or overwhelmed. From there, we begin shaping a personalized path forward that honors both your goals and your nervous system. Many clients leave the first session feeling a sense of relief, clarity, and the quiet reassurance that they no longer have to navigate things alone. My intention is for you to feel truly seen, respected, and cared for from the very beginning.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What often sets my work apart is the balance I bring between deep emotional attunement and clear, effective direction for change. I specialize in supporting high-functioning individuals who may appear capable and successful on the outside, yet feel internally overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in repeating patterns. My approach is thoughtful, refined, and highly personalized, integrating advanced trauma-informed methods such as EMDR, CBT, DBT, and somatic therapy to create meaningful and lasting transformation. I am intentional about creating a therapeutic experience that feels both grounding and growth-oriented — a space where insight is paired with practical movement forward. Clients frequently notice not only relief from emotional intensity, but an increased sense of clarity, confidence, and inner steadiness in how they navigate relationships, stress, and life transitions. My work is focused on helping you move beyond coping into a deeper experience of resilience, self-leadership, and emotional freedom.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to support individuals who feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in painful patterns, or disconnected from themselves and others. Many of the clients I work with are navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, postpartum changes, or difficulties managing intense emotions. They may be highly self-aware and motivated for growth, yet still feel triggered, exhausted, or unsure how to create lasting change. My clients are often caregivers, professionals, parents, or sensitive and high-functioning individuals who are used to “holding it all together” on the outside while struggling internally. They may be seeking relief from stress, healing from past wounds, improving communication and boundaries, or developing a stronger sense of identity and self-trust. In therapy, they are looking for both depth and practical support — a space that feels safe, compassionate, and grounded, while also offering clear tools for emotional regulation, nervous system stability, and healthier thinking patterns. Together, we focus on helping clients feel more resilient, more present in their relationships, and more confident in navigating everyday life with greater calm, clarity, and intention.

My treatment methods

EMDR

Sometimes you understand your past logically, but your body and emotions still react as if the experience is happening now. I use EMDR therapy to help clients gently process trauma, anxiety, and relational wounds so they feel less triggered and more grounded in their daily lives. Our work together focuses on helping you feel safe, supported, and empowered while shifting old patterns and beliefs that no longer serve you. My approach blends EMDR with somatic awareness and attachment-focused care to create meaningful, lasting emotional change.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

At times your thoughts can feel overwhelming, critical, or stuck in patterns that increase anxiety, stress, or self-doubt. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and to develop practical tools for creating healthier patterns. Together, we work to challenge unhelpful thinking, build coping skills, and increase confidence in managing life’s challenges. My approach to CBT is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to your unique goals so that change feels realistic, empowering, and sustainable.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

When emotions feel intense or difficult to manage, it can be hard to feel steady, safe, or understood — especially during stressful experiences or relationship pain. Using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I offer gentle guidance in learning skills that support emotional regulation, coping with distress, and staying connected to the present moment. Our work moves at a pace that respects your nervous system, creating space for both self-acceptance and meaningful growth. In a warm and supportive environment, you can begin to feel more grounded, more confident in your emotions, and more trusting of your ability to navigate life’s challenges.

Somatic

Sometimes the weight of past experiences, stress, or emotional pain is held quietly in the body, showing up as tension, exhaustion, overwhelm, or a sense of disconnection. In somatic therapy, we move gently and with deep care, listening to what your nervous system has been trying to communicate. Together, we create space for your body to feel safer, more grounded, and more supported in the present moment. This work is slow, compassionate, and honoring of your pace, helping you soften survival patterns, reconnect with yourself, and experience a deeper sense of calm, resilience, and inner steadiness.
