I specialize in mind/body medicine, chronic illness, and expressive art therapy. The populations I have previously worked with suffer from chronic Lyme disease, Long Covid, ME/CFS, and other poorly understood, invisible health conditions. I believe our physical & mental health are far more entwined than our healthcare system realizes. I use holistic & integrative modalities to help clients work through challenges while providing support & resources along the way. My training as an expressive art therapist allows me to guide patients toward finding meaning & purpose, and it provides an outlet for self-expression. Allow me to steer you towards a path of post traumatic growth & resilience! In addition to my lived experience of healing from chronic illness, I was the Mental Health & Wellness Manager at a renown MGH and Harvard-affiliated clinic in Boston, where I received additional trainings in mind/body medicine. I am also a Reiki practitioner and sound healer, and love incorporating spiritual wisdom into my work. I am here to BELIEVE you, support you, validate you, and guide you along whatever journey you are on. I believe that the mind, body, and spirit are interconnected and that therapy is just one element of healing. Work with me and learn how to harness your inner healer through insight, agency, and self empowerment.
Clients can expect to gain insight and clarity on the issues they are facing, and feedback on how to make decisions that are aligned with their core value system. For those dealing with complex medical issues, I am here to provide validation and affirmation that what they are experiencing is real, despite what doctors or others may tell them. I help patients to find the resources that will help them on their road to recovery, in addition to community support and self-empowerment/advocacy tools.
Expressive art therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based therapy. Psychodynamic therapy, integrative therapy, existential therapy, and mind-body oriented therapies, health coaching
In addition to having a sense of humor, former clients have told me that they feel validated in their experience and that they have more tools for self-advocacy and resilience. Those who are interested in mindfulness, and mind/body medicine or holistic therapy also connect well with my therapeutic approach. For those with complex medical issues, my experience in the field has allowed me to amass many resources that my clients benefit from, in addition from being able to participate in the support groups and art therapy groups that I run.
Those dealing with anxiety or depression, difficult life transitions, or a new and challenging medical diagnosis. I have a lot of experience working with those diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease, Long Covid, or ME/CFS.
