Hi! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida. I received my undergraduate degree from Florida State University, and Masters from the University of Denver. I have been working in the mental health field for almost ten years in different roles. In my current practice, I help young adults struggling with depression and anxiety to develop coping skills and become the best versions of themselves.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Having worked in different sectors and positions of the mental health field, I've developed skills to help you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.
I love working with young adults who are still on the journey of developing their identities. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about where they stand in the world.
This is the primary method of therapy I use, among others depending on client needs as they present over time. Together, we’ll identify patterns in your thinking that may be contributing to your feelings and behaviors. This can help you see how changing your thoughts can lead to changes in how you feel and act.
