Let’s face it—today’s world can feel like trying to navigate the increasingly complicated system at Disneyland that used to feel so easy but now feels impossibly exclusive. Anxiety, uncertainty, frustration, and stress are natural responses to the chaos around us, and if you're feeling overwhelmed, you're definitely not alone. I get it—I’ve been there too. I have a holistic approach to help you not only understand what you're going through, but to navigate it with more clarity and confidence. Together, we’ll explore the root of your challenges and develop practical strategies that will help you find your way to a place of flourishing—no special app required!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session together, I will simply provide the safe space and time for you to begin feeling comfortable. You can ask any questions, get to know me, and we'll nail down some goals for working together. There is no pressure to share anything you aren't ready to talk about. This is your time.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My specialty is actually keeping things simple. You won't hear huge complicated terms, diagnosis, and suggestions for extreme measures here. Most of our struggles are simply a response to something happening in our life. We will work together to figure out what you're responding to and how you'd like to approach change. You'll enjoy the practicality here. True healing begins when we feel genuinely seen and heard. You deserve to be known, supported, have your story understood, and have an outside perspective on what you're walking through. I've got you.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Perhaps you are a helping professional or a university student preparing to navigate the complicated world of becoming a helper. Maybe you've found yourself in a position of leadership, clergy, or trying to figure out the disenchantment you feel about where you're at and what you do. You are questioning things. You are unsure. You are hurting. You feel overwhelmed or afraid of burning out. Or maybe, you have experienced some form of high control that you're walking out of. There are things you feel you can't say out loud. If you resonate, this is a wonderful, safe space for you.

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

I firmly believe that as a therapist, my job is to come alongside each client in a way that assists them in discovering their own strengths, wisdom, and abilities. Out of this, clients will experience the empowerment to find control in their own lives and stories that allows them to move forward with confidence and success.

Narrative

Viewing your struggles as a part of your story rather than part of you, and placing yourself within that story from an external standpoint, is a wonderful way to find meaning and purpose in all that you've experienced.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Sometimes, we are going through something that we could use extra support with, and that means taking a brief period of time to focus on the specific issue with a therapist. With solution focused therapy, we address the specific current struggle with the intention of discontinuing therapy upon resolution of that problem.

I found Elisabeth to be very understanding of my challenges. She has a great way of explaining to me the "whys" and the "hows" of the therapy process. I appreciate the warmth and kindness she gives- which is just what I need during times when I feel a bit more fragile. I'm looking forward to continuing to work towards a better version of me with her.

This is only my first meeting with her, but Elizabeth was really good at listening and providing a sense of ease and warmth. While I spoke a BUNCH, she provided a very intriguing onsite to what ideas she has regarding my self work. I really appreciated that she shared tidbits that showed her perspectives and how she came to them. I’m excited to continue working with her to gain some tools to support my ADHD, some recent traumatic experiences and major life changes.
