Hello and Welcome! Congratulations on taking your first step towards healing! My passion is to provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy for Anxiety, OCD, Relationships, and Trauma. My practice is dedicated to helping individuals and couples break free from patterns that keep you stuck in the same cycles so you can build healthier relationships, stronger self-worth, and a more fulfilling life. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, OCD, depression, self-doubt, intrusive thoughts, relationship difficulties, childhood trauma, narcissistic abuse recovery, or emotional overwhelm, therapy can help you gain greater self-awareness, build resilience, and feel more confident in your day to day. For couples seeking to develop a deeper understanding of one another, strengthen communication, and build more meaningful connections as well as heal attachment wounds, we will likely be an excellent fit! If you feel like you're having the same conversation over and over again with little resolution, you're not alone. I help couples identify recurring patterns in their relationships, understand the emotions driving them, and build healthier ways of communicating and connecting.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

As your therapist, you can expect a space where you feel heard, understood, challenged when needed, and supported throughout the entire process. Beginning therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if this is your first experience seeking mental health support. I strive to create a calm, welcoming, and judgment-free environment from the very first session. We will take some time to get to know one another as I am deeply interested in your past experiences as well as current passions, hobbies, support system, etc. Together, we will then identify a few meaningful goals and discuss a personalized treatment approach tailored to your needs.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I utilize an integrative approach to therapy. This approach blends the structure and effectiveness of evidence-based therapy with the warmth and flexibility of supportive, holistic care. This balanced approach is ideal for individuals who value both tangible results and a compassionate therapeutic relationship. Using evidence-based interventions, we work toward measurable progress in areas that are important to you, while recognizing that healing is not always linear and cannot always be captured by symptom reduction alone. Therapy may include skill-building, problem-solving, and treatment planning alongside deeper exploration of relationships, life transitions, grief, recovery from difficult experiences, identity development, and other personal challenges. Together, we identify meaningful goals while also creating space to process life's challenges, explore emotions, and foster personal growth at a pace that feels right for you. I may also incorporate spirituality (if this is something you would like), inner-child work, and other methods aimed to best support your goals.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with individuals looking to address anxiety symptoms, intrusive thoughts, low self-worth and people-pleasing patterns, and heal attachment and relationship wounds. If you are looking to receive evidence-based OCD treatment (which often involves changing patterns of thinking and behavior), develop healthy emotion regulation and communication skills, decrease feelings of self-doubt and constant rumination, and break generation cycles or unhealthy family dynamics witnessed in childhood, you are in the right place! I also enjoy supporting couples who find themselves caught in recurring conflicts that never seem to reach a meaningful resolution. If you and your partner feel stuck in the same relationship patterns, I am here to help you identify the barriers that may be preventing the connection, understanding, and closeness you both desire. Whether you struggle to communicate your needs effectively, long to better understand one another, or hope to strengthen your sense of trust and security within the relationship, I provide a supportive space to help you navigate these challenges. Together, we can work toward healthier communication, deeper connection, and lasting change.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

This approach helps us uncover the core beliefs that may be keeping you stuck in recurring cycles and behavior patterns. Together, we will challenge and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier ways of thinking, and foster greater self-confidence, self-compassion, and self-esteem.

Compassion Focused

This approach emphasizes self-compassion as a foundation for healing, allowing you to move away from shame and self-criticism and toward greater understanding, acceptance, and kindness toward yourself and the challenges you have faced.

Attachment-based

This approach helps identify attachment styles, such as anxious, avoidant, or disorganized attachment, that may be impacting your relationships and overall well-being. Together, we will explore the experiences that shaped these patterns, uncover recurring relationship dynamics, and develop healthier ways of connecting with others, communicating your needs, and building secure, fulfilling relationships.

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)

This approach is primarily used to treat OCD and anxiety disorders. The goal is to gradually and safely face the fears, situations, or intrusive thoughts that trigger distress while reducing the compulsive behaviors or safety-seeking strategies used to manage anxiety, such as excessive checking, avoidance, or seeking reassurance from others. Over time, this process helps decrease anxiety, build confidence, and strengthen your ability to tolerate uncertainty.

Couples Counseling

Learn to communicate more effectively, deepen your understanding of one another, and cultivate a relationship built on trust, security, and meaningful connection.
