You are the expert! You may have lost your voice or vision along the way, but with the help of a skilled therapist, you can find your path again to wholeness and wellness. Take the first step by reaching out, you owe it to yourself.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe that a great rapport goes a long way in building comfort and openness. I would like for you to look forward to our sessions, knowing that you will leave feeling better at the end, and more equipped with an understanding of your situation and increased ability to handle life's stressors. I enjoy bringing humor and real life, down to earth examples and analogies to make complex situations more understandable. I believe in inspiring hope and optimism in each session.

I serve adolescents and adults, providing individual therapy. My specialties include anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, bipolar disorder, adjustment disorder and general life stressors. I thoroughly listen and assess the situation before working along with you to customize a treatment plan to address the presenting challenges in order of priority.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I believe that our thoughts are primarily responsible for how we feel, which then affects our behaviors. Sometimes we may be operating from a place of defeat or negativity due to our thought patterns, which further trap us into feelings and actions that don't move us forward to our desired outcomes. I enjoy the process of thought examination and challenging. I believe that we can determine if our thoughts best serve us and from there we can make a decision on replacing a negative or paralyzing thought with a more productive, inspiring one, thus immediately shifting how we feel and empowering us to take action that can move us forward. We are so much more powerful than our thoughts!!!

Motivational Interviewing

In my practice, I believe that you are the expert. You know what would ultimately bring you contentment. It is my job to help you find that place again, by asking the right questions and guiding you back to your best self.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I believe that unaddressed traumas are often at the core of our depression, anxiety and emotional discomfort. My role is to help you explore and tell your trauma narrative and to determine if new meaning can be assigned in order to help you become unstuck and move you forward in your life journey.
