Life can get heavy. Anxiety, depression, relationship stress, or just feeling stuck can wear you down and make everyday life harder than it should be. You don’t have to figure it all out on your own. I’m a Therapist with over 20 years of experience helping people through difficult seasons—whether that’s constant worry, feeling disconnected from your partner, or feeling like you’ve lost your footing in life. My style is down-to-earth, supportive, and practical. Clients often tell me they feel comfortable quickly and appreciate that I’m real with them. I won’t lecture you or tell you what you should do. We’ll work together to understand what’s keeping you stuck and find realistic ways to move forward. I’ll help you notice unhelpful thought patterns, manage overwhelming emotions, and build skills you can actually use in daily life and relationships. My goal is simple: to help you feel steadier, more confident, and more like yourself again—and to start feeling some relief sooner rather than later.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my focus is on helping you feel at ease while also making the time meaningful. Many people come in feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure where to even begin—so we start by slowing things down and getting clear about what’s been weighing on you. I want you to feel heard and understood, not rushed or judged. At the same time, I’ll help you organize what’s going on, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and begin to make sense of it together. We’ll talk about the challenges you’re facing, but we’ll also notice your strengths and what’s helped you survive and cope so far—even if it doesn’t feel that way right now. My goal is that you leave the first session feeling less alone, a little clearer, and with at least one insight or tool you can use right away. Whether we decide to continue working together or not, I want our first meeting to feel supportive, grounded, and genuinely helpful.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength as a therapist is my ability to combine genuine human connection with clear, practical guidance. People often come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, scattered, or unsure how to make sense of what they’re experiencing. I help slow things down, organize what’s going on, and bring clarity without judgment or pressure. I create a space where clients feel safe being honest—without feeling analyzed, shamed, or talked down to. At the same time, I don’t stay vague or overly abstract. I’m direct when it’s helpful, grounded in real-life experience, and focused on helping clients make meaningful changes they can actually sustain. I’m down-to-earth and speak plainly, avoiding therapy jargon. I help clients identify unhelpful patterns, recognize their existing strengths, and build practical tools for managing emotions, relationships, and stress. My goal isn’t just insight—it’s relief, confidence, and forward movement. Above all, I believe people change best when they feel understood and supported in taking action. I take that balance seriously.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who is tired of feeling anxious, weighed down, or stuck—and wants real relief, not just insight. They may be high-functioning on the outside but internally overwhelmed, discouraged, or emotionally exhausted. They don’t want to spend years circling the same problems in therapy; they want to understand what’s happening and start feeling better sooner rather than later. They’re open to looking honestly at their thoughts, emotions, and relationship patterns, even if they feel nervous about it. They value a therapist who is warm and supportive but also practical, focused, and willing to help them get unstuck. Whether they’re struggling with anxiety, depression, or a distressed relationship, they want tools they can actually use in real life. I work best with clients who are ready to engage in the process, try new approaches, and take small but meaningful steps toward change. My goal is to help them experience relief early on, build resilience, and regain a sense of balance and hope—so therapy feels useful, not endless.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize and shift unhelpful thought patterns — the kind of ‘stuck thinking’ that can keep you feeling anxious, down, or overwhelmed. My approach is always personalized, because no two people are the same. I take the time to understand your unique experiences so you feel truly heard and supported. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and never judged. I know that reaching out for help isn’t easy — but you don’t have to face things alone. I’m here to walk with you, at your pace, as we work through what’s getting in the way and move toward meaningful change. I’ll support you with practical tools and strategies you can use in your daily life — not just in sessions — to help you feel more in control and resilient. I’ll also gently challenge the patterns that are holding you back, always respecting your comfort level and readiness for growth. Whether you're feeling stuck, unsure, or simply need someone to talk to, I’m ready to listen. Together, we can take that first step toward feeling better and building a more grounded, fulfilling life.

Stan was the first therapist on the list. Left the session feeling better than any of my previous 30 therapy sessions with others. I really came away feeling so much better
