I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 23 years of experience helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges. My warm and engaging approach lets clients know they’re in a safe and caring space. We all reach points where life feels overwhelming, and it’s okay to admit we need help. I’m here to work with you—not to direct or tell you what to do, but to explore options and strategies together. I’ll help you identify and change the negative thinking patterns that keep you stuck, and we’ll practice new skills to better manage life’s challenges. Along the way, we’ll celebrate your progress as you move toward a more satisfying and fulfilling life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my primary goal is to get to know you as an individual. I want you to feel a genuine connection, where you are truly heard and understood. Whether or not we continue working together, I hope you leave our first meeting feeling less alone and more connected. During our conversation, we’ll explore not only the challenges you’re facing but also your strengths and accomplishments. It’s important to me that you feel supported and recognized for who you are, right from the start.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength as a therapist lies in my genuine care and interest in others. I create a comfortable, non-judgmental space where people feel safe to open up, knowing they won’t be shamed or looked down upon. I often share my own experiences, including challenges I’ve faced, to show that change is not only possible but achievable. I see the strengths in my clients and believe in their ability to overcome difficulties. I’m down-to-earth and practical, avoiding jargon and speaking in everyday language. I believe deeply in our shared human connection, and part of my mission is to help my clients feel that connection with me and empower them to connect with others.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who is ready to stop worrying, lift the weight of anxiety or depression, and rediscover joy in life. They often feel overwhelmed and are looking for a safe, non-judgmental space to explore these feelings and start feeling better. They want relief now and don’t want to spend years in therapy. I’m here to help them start feeling better from the very first session, offering tools to navigate life’s challenges, build resilience, and regain hope. Together, we’ll work towards balance, fulfillment, and long-term happiness. While they may be a little nervous, they’re eager to make lasting changes, and together, we can achieve that.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize and shift unhelpful thought patterns — the kind of ‘stuck thinking’ that can keep you feeling anxious, down, or overwhelmed. My approach is always personalized, because no two people are the same. I take the time to understand your unique experiences so you feel truly heard and supported. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and never judged. I know that reaching out for help isn’t easy — but you don’t have to face things alone. I’m here to walk with you, at your pace, as we work through what’s getting in the way and move toward meaningful change. I’ll support you with practical tools and strategies you can use in your daily life — not just in sessions — to help you feel more in control and resilient. I’ll also gently challenge the patterns that are holding you back, always respecting your comfort level and readiness for growth. Whether you're feeling stuck, unsure, or simply need someone to talk to, I’m ready to listen. Together, we can take that first step toward feeling better and building a more grounded, fulfilling life.
