New to Grow
Hi! I'm so happy you're here. My name is Kelly and I am a LMHC. It is my passion and purpose to help see my clients through some of their hardest days and lowest points. My clients would describe me as honest, compassionate, and down to earth. I’m direct, easy to talk to, and I pride myself on the way that I connect with my clients on a deeper level. In our work, we will explore ways for you to develop effective coping skills, learn to communicate better, reach your personal goals, and build a more authentic, fulfilling life. ***Currently in the process of becoming EMDR-trained so that I can expand my practice and further help clients gently and effectively process trauma and distressing experiences. This specialized approach allows me to help clients move beyond simply coping with painful experiences toward meaningful healing and resolution.***
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our initial intake session will be an hour long (future sessions will range from 45-60 minutes depending on your needs). Our first session will be focused on me getting to know you and deepening my understanding of your therapeutic goals. It will be very conversational and it will help me to figure out how I can best help you!
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
What stands out about my therapeutic approach is my ability to balance compassion with honesty, while creating a warm, down-to-earth space where clients feel safe to be real. I’m direct, easy to talk to, and when appropriate, I use humor to help ease difficult conversations and build genuine connection. My work is grounded in a CBT-based approach with an inner-child focus, and I am currently receiving training in EMDR to further support clients in processing trauma. I tailor therapy to each client’s needs, helping them build practical coping skills, improve communication, and break long-standing patterns to live more confidently and authentically.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I specialize in working with adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety and overthinking, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem, people-pleasing and codependency, childhood trauma, and family and relationship dynamics. I gravitate toward a CBT-based approach with a strong focus on inner-child work, and I especially enjoy working with individuals who need support finding their voice, building confidence, and feeling more empowered. My approach is always tailored to meet each client’s unique needs.
