Clients often come to me after trying therapy before but still feeling stuck. We focus on what’s actually maintaining the problem—and how to move forward in a way that feels manageable and sustainable. Many of my clients have told me that they find me relatable. They like that because it feels less intimidating. I agree. I prefer people to be honest, open, and sharing. They can expect the same from me.

During the first session and during all future sessions, I expect you to be honest with me and straightforward, so I can adjust as necessary to better help you, and you are happier with the results of your therapy journey.

My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

Regulating your nervous system is essential to healing, growing, becoming emotionally stronger, or feeling grounded. Teaching people how to regulate their dysregulated nervous system is an important part of how I help them.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

There is a clear connection between people's cognition (e.g., thoughts, memories, beliefs...), their emotions and physical sensations, and their behavior. Overtime, patterns emerge, positive and negative. I help people identify positive patterns of cognition/emotion-sensation/behavior to be strengthened, and negative patterns to be disrupted.

Integrative

All models of therapy have useful concepts, principles, and techniques. I'm not stuck in one model or another. I use what works.
